Dirks Automotive & Transmission, owned by Oroville native Doug Dirks has been servicing transmissions since 1972, while providing full service automotive repair since 1990. So, in addition to transmissions, we can also cover every aspect of your vehicle, including engines, suspensions, differentials, clutches, cooling systems, electrical, drivability and more. From routine maintenance checks and fluid changes, to major and minor repairs or overhauls, we do it all!
We have been under the same ownership for 37 years in the Oroville area doing work for our customers in the larger area of Butte, Glenn,Colusa, Sutter and Yuba counties.

The Technical staff at Dirks Automotive & Transmission are involved with National & International leaders in the automotive industry staying up on the newest products and the best services to give our clients the best product possible. While we could be like our competition and simply attend a couple classes a year, meeting and sharing with these leaders allows us to bring back to Oroville a wealth of information to help us better service our customers vehicles, and stay well ahead of the rest of the industry.
