I don't often leave reviews of businesses but the people at Dirk's Automotive deserve all the applause they can get. In early June, my wife and I were returning from a family vacation on Lake Shasta. On our way home to San Diego, we had planned to stop by and visit family living near Grass Valley. However, our car gave out (severe engine problems) as we were driving near Orville. We were towed into Dirk's late in the day. The staff there, especially Brenda, welcomed us, realized we were feeling overwhelmed and arranged for a hotel room for us at the local casino. Not only did they store our car for the night but they found place in the shop area for our Kayak trailer. Brenda took us to the hotel, her daughter picked us the following morning, and, drove us to the Uhaul rental office so we could arrange transportation. The crew at their shop helped us load up our kayak trailer into our rental Uhaul so we could go home. ( the car was a loss and now lives in Orville.) We were two people who were exhausted and feeling overwhelmed and Brenda and all the crew at Dirk's make a point of looking out for us and helping us get back on the road to our home in San Diego. These people are amazing and we thank them for being so kind!
